Frequently Asked Questions About Driver Simulation Training (FAQs)
1. How do I register for the drive for life program?
You can register for the program in a variety of ways: (1) by telephone at 905-822-0111; or, (2) by sending us an e-mail to get the process started. You may also sign up via Young Drivers of Canada who is a strong supporter of our training program.
2. How is drive for life different than the MTO approved driving school programs?
drive for life is designed to acclerate the decision making skills of novice drivers based on our proprietary training approach. Our training goes beyond what is taught in most driving schools which generally focus on vehicle control and rules of the road. While we recommend that novice drivers complete the MTO program, collision statistics indicate this still does not deliver the training novice drivers require. We built our program based on the need for additional training to create safer drivers.
Many of our students participate in the drive for life training program in parallel to the MTO program in order to truly become safer behind the wheel.
3. How much does drive for life program cost?
The cost for the "Novice Driver" program is $349 plus HST, payable in full upon registration. This fee includes 5+ hours of training including classroom theory behind our proprietary SPOT concept and hands on simulator experience. Note each hour on the simulator translates to 3 hours of real driving time due to the benefits of simulator based training. So in effect, the novice driver is getting an additional 10-12 hours of "real" training time behind the wheel of our simulators.
Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Amercian Express, Debit or Cash.
4. How long will it take to complete the drive for life program?
The "Novice Driver" program involves 3-4 sessions, each consisting of 1+ hour training modules. Our goal is to complete your training within a 3-5 week period from your initial simulator session.
5. Is the Mississauga site your only training location?
Yes this is our only location at this time. We provide evening and weekend training sessions for trainees who are traveling to our site.
6. How do I schedule my training sessions?

7. Can I make changes to my training schedule?

If you miss a scheduled session, you will be charged an additional fee of $50. We will then re-schedule you at the earliest possible availability.
